Note to self — what to do if I get sick

This is not a real post — literally just tired of paying $30 copay every year when I get a cold, just to forget what the Dr. told me each time.

  1. 95% chance you have a virus not a bacterial infection. Bacterial infections are more isolated to one spot (ie. left cheek hurts) and other reasons.
  2. Take an antihistamine, so can double up on zyrtec or benadryl at night.
  3. Flonase (nasal steroid) twice a day (only take when sick) — 1 puff each nostril
  4. Saline spray — basically waterboard myself twice a day.
  5. Take vitamin C throughout duration of cold — ok to take 24/7 but I dont’ want to do this.
  6. Take zinc pills throughout duration of cold — not okay to take 24/7, only when sick.
  7. ???
  8. $$ profit
